This is where we consider space planning, layouts and how your home actually functions day to day.
Where does the natural light fall? How do people move through the room? Is there enough storage? Why has the sofa never felt right in that position? Could the kitchen layout work harder?
It's often the least glamorous part of interior design, but it's arguably the most important.
Get the bones wrong and no amount of beautiful styling will fix how a room feels to live in.
Interior Decoration: The Feeling
Interior decoration is the layer that gives a home its personality.
Furniture, colour, fabrics, rugs, art, lighting and styling all work together to create an interior that feels unmistakably connected to the people who live there.

After years of designing homes, I've noticed the biggest changes aren't always dramatic.
They're often surprisingly small.
People start using rooms they previously avoided. Entertaining becomes easier. Families spend more time together because there are comfortable places to do it. Storage works properly, so keeping the house organised requires less effort.
And perhaps most importantly, people stop designing around some hypothetical future buyer and start creating a home for the life they're actually living now.
None of that necessarily shows up in a before-and-after photograph.
But it's often the difference between a house that simply looks beautiful and a home that genuinely feels good to live in.
